Moving Day :D

Moving day! We are officially moved into our new place! It is such an upgrade! We have water access (before we had to carry it from off-site) and now we have a bore-hole (a well with a pump that brings the water to a huge container above ground.) This makes everyday life a lot easier. We obviously still don’t have running water but it sure makes things feel luxurious! (we had the same set up in Magongoa during PST.) Our new family consists of (as far as I know now) a grandma (koko) and a mother (who works away during the week), along with a younger daughter (Valentine, who speaks English very well) and a baby girl. They welcomed us with open arms when we arrived and called us family. They have worked hard to get our rooms ready for us to move in and seem to really care about our comfort level. They fixed the front door, had the burglar bars installed and even touched up some paint spots! They are so sweet. They have already given us more of a family atmosphere in the first 10 minutes than at our old house. We are really excited about our new home. The house itself is a big larger than our hold house and has tiled floors! We are feeling really lucky and really safe and really comfortable already! Can’t wait to give you all some more details (once I get them!)
